The world you are about to enter was constructed to commemorate the Amnesty International event, DJ saved my life, staged at the ICA during October 2003, to promote their Arms campaign. It is the antithesis of a 'shoot em up' game; instead of fighting other players the sole object is to engage them in discourse. Though the space is based on the ICA it is not intended to be an accurate replica. It is really whatever you make it. Within this world you will take on a character and may choose to manifest yourself as one of the curators or artists involved. You can chat with other participants though not all of them are human but will you know? Some of the characters you will meet have a personality derived from Artificial Intelligence models with specialist knowledge in their given field. Just try asking the barman how to make a Mojito or what the art critic would do with Damien Hirst. So tool up your diction, slip into Tony Wilson and start talking.

This world was built using Adobe Atmosphere software. You will be required to download and install a plug in This should happen automatically but in not click here. It is perfectly safe. Unfortunately this is not available for Mac users at this time. You will also need Macromedia Flash plug in. If you do not have it you will find it here. By the nature of this environment, it may take some time to download if you are participating remotely from outside of the ICA on a slow connection. |
